Your Social Security case will be handled by an attorney who is authorized to practice before the Social Security Administration by virtue of his/her particular state or federal bar admission. Said authorization to practice before the Social Security Administration does not give any attorney the authority to engage in the general practice of law in any state where that attorney is not duly licensed by the state bar.

As explained above, our attorneys are authorized to handle social security disability cases by before the Social Security Administration in your state, regardless of the particular states we are licensed in. Nevertheless, United Disability Lawyers is proud to count among its attorneys membership in the bars of the following states: Arizona, California, Florida, Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island, Texas, and Washington, D.C.

In certain states United Disability Lawyers Group may jointly represent you with another attorney licensed to practice general law in your state (affiliate arrangement). In the event your case proceeds under such an affiliate arrangement, United Disability assumes joint responsibility for your representation and you will be so notified.
