James Gannon is a partner in United Disability Lawyers Group with over 16 years of Social Security disability experience and 30 years as a practicing attorney. In addition to representing thousands of clients in their SSI and SSDI claims, Jim also has extensive experience in appealing Social Security disability cases to Federal District Court and achieved an important decision regarding the evaluation of Fibromyalgia in the First Circuit Court of Appeals.
Jim is a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany and graduated from Fordham University Law School in 1981. He is a member of the New York and Rhode Island state bars, and is licensed to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, Southern District of New York and District of Rhode Island.
Glenn Saks is a 1997 graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, and graduated cum laude from the University of Arizona. His career has encompassed legal work both in private practice and in government. His practice exclusively involves social security disability law (SSI and SSDI). Glenn has won disability hearings for clients in several states, and particularly enjoys helping disabled veterans receive social security disability benefits.
Glenn is a member of the state bars of Arizona, Florida, Texas and Washington, D.C. and is licensed in the United States District Courts of Arizona, the Southern District of Florida and the Middle District of Florida. Mr. Saks is conversant in Spanish.
Moe Greenberg is a partner with United Disability Lawyers Group and is a Graduate of State University of New York at Albany and Boston College School of Law, where he graduated in 1981. He later served as a staff attorney for the Social Security Administration and has been practicing social security disability law for over 25 years, where he has gained an outstanding reputation in the field.
Mr. Greenberg is a member of the state bars of Rhode Island and Massachusetts and is licensed in the Federal District Court of Rhode Island. Moe is fluent in Spanish.
Betty Herrera is a graduate from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, California. She served as both a writer and oralist on Moot Court Team. She earned several CALI Excellence for Future Awards in various courses, including Counseling and Negotiating.
Ms. Herrera has dedicated her professional career to helping the disabled community. Prior attending law school, she worked as paralegal assisting other attorneys helping disabled individuals with their disability claims.
After graduation and admission to the bar, Ms. Herrera took an associate position with a firm in Northern California. She proved to be a valuable asset to the firm and became a partner after only 4 years. Given her immense disability experience, Ms. Herrera was often invited to speak at community sponsored events.
Ms. Herrera remains a tireless advocate for her clients with a dedication to first-rate personal attention. With nearly 2,000 hearings under her belt, Ms. Herrera knows what it takes to develop a case to get the benefits her clients deserve.
Ms. Herrera is licensed to practice law in the United States District Court (Northern and Central District), the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Veterans Court of Appeals.
She is fluent in Spanish.
Cody Launder is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Law and Kenyon College. Prior to law school, Mr. Launder worked for a large healthcare organization as a Medical Records Specialist. While in law school, Cody was a certified legal intern at the Milton A. Kramer Law Clinic, where he represented clients at Social Security Disability hearings for SSI and SSDI benefits.
Mr. Launder’s practice at United Disability Lawyers Group focuses primarily on appealing denied disability claims to the Appeals Council and all levels of Federal Court Appeals, including Federal District Court and United States Circuit Court. United Disability Lawyers Group can take cases all the way to the United States Supreme Court if necessary. Mr. Launder is a member of the State Bar of Ohio.
Keith Saks is a member of the Florida Bar and is licensed to practice before the United States Supreme Court, two Federal District Courts, U.S. Customs Court and U.S. Court of Military Appeals. Mr. Saks is also a Certified Professional Mediator with the Idaho Mediation Association, a member of the Arbitration and Mediation Panel with the American Arbitration Association and a member of the Idaho Federal District Court Arbitration/Mediation Panel.
He has presided at more than 300 arbitrations and handled hundreds of litigations over more than three decades as a practicing attorney. Keith has also served on several city boards and committees in both Florida and Idaho. Mr. Saks heads the Northwest Mountain Division of United Disability Lawyers Group, which covers Social Security Disability hearings in Montana, Idaho (based in Boise and Blaine County), Wyoming, Oregon, Utah and Washington State.
